Heyo. This month was another instance of "opened the package on time and took photos, but stuff happened and I didn't feel up to writing a post until just now." Near the beginning of the month, our 20lbs of sweet orange drool, floof, screaming and love was taken from us. It's been hard. But my last memories of him are good, so even though it still hurts - and always will, since we had him for twelve years - I'm slowly recovering. I just miss him. Visiting over at mom's is never going to be the same. Anyway. On to the opening. As you can see, we have another bag this month because they squeezed in a lovely 8oz of fiber again. Love that, even though the bags don't stack as nicely as the boxes do for storage. Alas, crafting problems. The newsletter for this month! Paradise Fiber Club Box - August: The Best of Fiber Club

So, lemmie just say that I DID open this box (bag) on time. And uploaded the pics the same day! And then sat on the post for most of the rest of the month like the total champion that I am. Gonna also take a moment to complain about the blogger mobile options. My dudes MAKE IT FREAKING EASIER TO UPLOAD PICS. The app is complete garbage and the mobile interface doesn't even seem to have it as an option. Super frustrating. That said, on to August's package! Look at that pretty, pretty custom print bag. This is the...7th? 7th anniversary of the fiber club per the included inset, and I already had a suspicion that it was gonna be some sort of "Greatest Hits" theme based on the hint we'd gotten in late July. The Largesse Box: Part One

So, for a looooong time I've been planning on decorating this wooden craft chest I've had kicking around for the better part of ten years, and then filling the damn thing up with largesse and inflicting the resulting craft monster on An Tir's Largesse coordinator (because no way am I presenting this thing directly to whoever the sitting royals are when I finally get it filled - it's taken like two years to get THIS far, so lord knows when I'll actually FINISH). I've actually made a start on the contents - the painted drop spindles and the viking hats are meant for this undertaking, after all. A few days ago the bug to start getting serious on at least finishing out the box bit me hard, and I drafted up an initial plan on how this stupid thing would be painted.
